UNC Chapel Hill
The World's Largest Ram is a massive sculpture of a ram donated to the UNC-CH campus by the Belk family, founder of Raleigh-Durham's Hudson-Belk department stores. The sculpture stands outside of the Keenan Football Center . The Tar Heels became associate with the ram mascot when Jack "The Battering Ram" Merrit played on the Tar Heel football team during the 1920's.
