1. Streets at Southpoint
The Streets at Southpoint aims to replicate the main street shopping experience of yesterday combined with the convenience of having all the stores in one place and ample parking. Located in south Durham and very convenient to Chapel Hill, Southpoint's street shops include Pottery Barn, Barne's and Noble and Restoration Hardware. It also features great restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and The Caifornia Pizza Kitchen.
2. Crabtree Valley Mall
The matriarch of Raleigh malls, Crabtree Valley lacks the indoor/outdoor shopping experience of many of the newer malls. However, what it lacks on the outside it makes up for on the inside, attracting some of the biggest names in retail. While it's anchor stores can be found elsewhere in the Triangle, the Crabtree location often offers more upscale labels.3. University Mall
University Mall in Chapel Hill is a great success story of a older mall reinventing itself. While a traditional mall in structure, it is anchored by one of the largest gourmet and specialty foods stores in the south, A Southern Season. The inside spaces are populated by eclectic shops and boutiques, many of them independent and others that you won't find elsewhere in the Triangle.4. Cameron Village
Cameron Village in Raleigh includes shops with names you know like Ann Taylor and Talbotts with upscale independent boutiques carrying everything from gifts to linens to accessories and more. The outdoor shopping experience is enhanced by charming coffee shops and cafes.
