Chapel Hill's University Mall has some of the most unique stores in the Raleigh-Durham area. Many of University Mall's shops focus on selling local or handmade goods, including fine art, jewelry, furniture and high-end clothing. The mall also has popular chain stores, including Dillard's, Roses, GNC, and Bath & Body Works.
Before visiting the mall, be aware that not all the stores in the mall keep the same hours, so it's wise to call ahead and make sure that your favorite store is open. Generally, the stores in University Mall are open from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Sunday. However some notable exceptions, including A Southern Season, keep shorter hours.
