Since 1975, the Wolfpack Women's Basketball Team has won 5 ACC Championships and 4 ACC tournament titles, and has made the "Sweet 16" in the NCAA tournament 11 times.
The NC State Women's Basketball Team's schedule runs from mid-November until early March, when post-season play begins. All of the team's home games are played in NC State University's Reynolds Coliseum, on Kay Yow Court.
In honor of Coach Yow's prolonged battle with breast cancer (she was first diagnosed in 1987), the NC State Women's Basketball Team hosts an annual Hoops for Hope game, the proceeds of which are donated to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
