If you have questions about which income tax forms you'll need to submit, or how to fill out the forms, you can call the North Carolina Department of Revenue's hotline at 1-877-252-3052. The hotline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Personal Property Taxes: Personal Property taxes are assessed by your county of residence and apply to unregistered motor vehicles as well as vehicles such as boats or boat motors, jet skis, airplanes, campers, etc. Personal property taxes also apply to any equipment owned by a business or used to produce income.
