Silk Hope Old Fashioned Farmers' Day

If you're a fan of country living, farm museums, county fairs, and old fashioned family fun, you might want to check out Silk Hope's Old Fashioned Farmer's Day. Admission is $5.00/day per person. Kids under 6 are free.
Raleigh Wide Open
September 5 & 6
This year's Raleigh Wide Open celebrates the Raleigh Convention Center Grand Opening. The street fair starts at 11:00 am and runs all day. Nationally known performers Chuck Berry and Lou Gramm headline the musical performances. The evening ends at 10:00 pm with a fireworks display. Free.
Raggs! Live Dance Party at the Carolina Theatre of Durham

This interactive, 90-minute dance party features the cast from the "Raggs" public TV series - Raggs, Trilby, Pido, B. Max and Razzles.

El Greco to Velázquez - Art during the Reign of Philip III at the Nasher Museum

This blockbuster exhibit features over 60 paintings, with seven works by El Greco and three by Velázquez.
