The Relay For Life of Raleigh, NC is held annually at Downtown Raleigh's Halifax Mall and is a charitable event that benefits The American Cancer Society. The Raleigh Relay For Life is one of several Relay for Life events in the Triangle-Area.
2008 marks the 25th anniversary of the Raleigh Relay For Life, which will run from 11:00 a.m. on April 18 until 7:00 a.m. on April 19. In addition to its focus on the relay participants, who will be busy doing laps on the Raleigh Relay For Life track, the event will feature activities for the whole community. Planned activities include live entertainment, shopping, and kids activities.
Cancer survivors will also be honored with a Survivors' Dinner and a luminaria ceremony.
There are many ways to get involved with the Raleigh Relay For Life: relay participants/teams, committee members, volunteers and sponsors are always welcomed.
