Get a jump start on your holiday shopping at the Durham Art Walk, sponsored by the Durham Arts Council. This event is a great way to meet and support local artists. The Durham Art Walk takes place rain or shine. Admission is free.
2008 Women's ACC Soccer Championships at WakeMed Soccer Park
November 5-8, 2008
Watch some of the finest college-level women's soccer teams on the East Coast compete for the ACC Women's Soccer Championship. Single game tickets are $10-$15, and passes to all tournament games can be bought for $20-$30.

Veteran's Day Parade and Ceremony at the North Carolina State Capitol
November 8 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon
Honor our nation's veterans by attending a parade, wreath-laying ceremony, and patriotic concert at the NC Capitol grounds. Admission to the event is free.
64th Annual Greater Raleigh Merchants Association Christmas Parade
November 22 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon
The GRMA Christmas Parade features floats, marching bands, character balloons and other live entertainments. The 2 1/2 hour long parade follows a 1.2 mile route that winds its way through downtown Raleigh. The GRMA Christmas Parade typically attracts tens of thousands of spectators. Admission to the event is free.
