This Memorial Day, The Concert Singers of Cary and The Triangle Wind Ensemble Present "An American Celebration" Enjoy an evening outdoors listening to patriotic music and having a picnic with friends and family at this event.
Tickets are $12-25. Kids 12 and under get in free.

State Capitol Foundation Memorial Day Observance

May 26, 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Honor North Carolina 's fallen heroes with a ceremony at the North Carolina Veteran's Monument on the State Capitol lawn in Raleigh . Visitors will also be able to learn about military tradition by visiting the military encampment that will be set up at the State Capitol that day.

20th Anniversary North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Memorial Salute

May 25, 7:30 p.m
A candle lighting service will be held and Air Force General Norman Gaddis, a POW who was held at the Hanoi Hilton will speak.
May 26, 10:00 am
A taped reading of the names of over 1600 soldiers from North Carolina that lost their life in South East Asia will be played.
Admission is free.
Held at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial at the State Capital grounds.
