Kwanzaa Fest at the Durham Armory

Enjoy live music, dance performances by the Durham 's African-American Dance Ensemble, poetry readings and children's activities at Kwanzaa Fest. Admission is free.
Dead Sea Scrolls at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
January 1-4Catch the final few days of the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit's six month stay in Raleigh . The exhibit has a display of several of the Dead Sea Scrolls Tickets are $22 for adults, $16 for seniors and students, $12 for kids ages 5-11 and $3 for kids under 5. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the museum's box office.

The Riverkeeper Film Festival showcases water-themed short documentary films. The film festival benefits the Neuse River Foundation.

Chinese New Year Celebration
