There is usually plenty of free parking at the NC State Fairgrounds (or at NCSU's Carter-Finley Football Stadium and the RBC Center). However, during the NC State Fair, nearby parking spaces are often difficult to come by, and parking can be very difficult on days when there's an NCSU football or a Carolina Hurricanes hockey game that coincides with the state fair.
