The RBC Center in Raleigh is home to professional hockey's Carolina Hurricanes, NC State University's men's basketball and over 150 major concert events and other shows annually. Past events include NCAA Basketball Tournaments, NHL Stanley Cup Finals, Disney on Ice, USHRA Monster Jam and the Jeopardy College Championships. Previous musical acts include legends like Eric Clapton, Billy Joel and Elton John as well as pop sensations like Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift and Kenny Chesney.
Did you know that the RBC Center contains 30,000 cubic yards of concrete? That's enough for a sidewalk for Raleigh To Greensboro. Click here for a list of fun facts about Raleigh's RBC Center.
The four seating levels provide just under 20,000 seats depending on the configuration. Seating also includes luxury suites and club level seating. Check out the RBC Center seating charts. There are blissfully more women's bathrooms than men's, which keeps the waits for the ladies rooms fairly reasonable, even between half time or intermission. There are 8,000 parking spaces at the RBC Center ($10), but it is generally a good idea to arrive up to an hour early. A number of unpaved lots are available for latecomers.
There is plenty of food available at the RBC Center in Raleigh, but no matter what your taste or where you eat, be prepared to pay premium prices. The majority of concessions are what you'd expect from a sports arena--pretzels and dogs, beer and cheese fries. For those who are looking for a nicer meal, there is an Arena Club Restaurant available to Hurricanes season ticket holders (regular ticket holders 48 hours prior to the event) and Wolfpack Club members. It is occasionally open prior to specific concerts and events. The Arena Club offers both buffet and an a la cart menu that includes steak. This restaurant closes prior to the start of events.
The Ledge Lounge remains open to premium ticket holders throughout events and has multiple big-screen tvs so you don't miss anything while you're waiting for your order. In addition to a fully stocked bar serving beer, wine and liquor, the food carts inside the lounge offer NC barbeque and other fresh sandwiches.
