Cary holds an old fashioned Fouth of July celebration on Independence Eve. Then on July 4th there's a free performance by the NC Symphony at Koka Booth followed by fireworks.
6. Festival for the Eno - Durham
Music and art festival to support the Eno River Foundation. This three day extravaganza is a local tradition. In addition, the entire event is trash-free. The history of the festival is especially interesting.
