It can be tough to figure how to get home after a long night at the bar knocking back drinks, and (whoops!) becoming too drunk to drive home safely or legally. In this situation, the only good options are usually to either hire a cab, or call a friend or family member, which can be awkward at 2:00 a.m. Either way, you'll have to go back the next day to pick up your car (assuming it hasn't been towed and you can remember where you parked it!)

Now, there's a new solution to this old dilemma: Zingo. No, Zingo isn't an instant sobriety potion. It's simply a clever and innovative way to get you and your car home safely after you've had a night out in Raleigh or Chapel Hill.

Here's how it works: If you need a ride home, call Zingo at 1-877-663-8462 (that's 1-877-NO-DUI-NC) and, within about 20 minutes, a Zingo driver on a teeny, tiny scooter will show up at your designated pick-up location. The driver, who is fully insured, will fold the scooter up, and put it into a bag which will fit neatly in your car's trunk. Then, the driver will give you a ride home in your own car, take the scooter out of the trunk and zip away!

For this amazing service, Zingo will only charge you a $10 pick-up fee, and a $3 per mile mileage fee (discounts are available for students, military and law enforcement personnel). It's almost the same price as a cab, and is certainly cheaper than a DUI ticket.
